![]() Soon the falls will be streaming and the trees glistening with dusts of snow. Harrybrooke Park becomes a true wonder in the winter months. A magical white blanket falls upon the swing-sets and the bustle of the park’s year, settles in for a well deserved slumber. This is an ideal time for unique photos and to get a good look beyond the vibrant natural Summer beauty of the park and the gardens. It’s a great time to focus on the gem within the gem that we call Harden House Museum. What some may not know is that the Harden House Museum is here to fulfill your needs throughout all four seasons. The museum is a four bedroom cabana style home built in the 1940’s. It retains an elegant charm of a country home filled with artistic impression from a time that has passed us by. Walking through the front doors will have you take a step back in time and will likely take a breath or two from you with its charm and grace. We have our doors open (briefly, because it’s a little chilly to leave them open) as you search for that special venue to accommodate your gathering. The Harden House is not a giant venue, but quaint and far more intimate for a baby or bridal shower, or even a cocktail party. What better place to bring those close to you, while remaining in New Milford and so close to the love of nature. The falls of the Still River are just outside the back door off of the patio and provide the most beautiful backdrop for your photos. The blooming of beauty will be back before we know and it isn’t too early to book ahead to use the grounds of the park or the museum itself. With months of planning, we want nothing but the best for your occasion and will take honest dedication to help you every step of the way. Your wedding, your event ... you day … is unique and we want to make your dream come true. Harrybrooke Park with the Harden House Museum is absolutely the most beautiful, versatile and intimate place you can celebrate any special occasion. We welcome you to use the jewel of New Milford, Connecticut as your setting for your affair.
